I want to offer you this Wedgwood jasperware black and white Portland vase. The Portland vase was Josiah Wedgewood’s proudest achievements in the years 1789-1790. He copied this vase in jasperware from a 1st century Roman glass cameo vase. It took him five years to perfect a perfect replica of this Portland vase. There have been many copies of the original Portland vase since the late 18th century. This black and whiter Portland wase was made between 1890-1920. You can see it has Roman figural applique on this vase. You can see the detailed jasperware applique in the pictures of this vase. It is 7.25 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide. There is a negligible small line in the applique, but the vase is in good antique condition with no cracks, chips or restoration.
