We want to offer you this rare Le Tallec Paris covered cup and saucer featuring two handles and elaborate exquisite, raised gold scrollwork on a white ground. It has a gold finial on top which looks like a strawberry. It has a slightly raised ring in the center of the saucer to help stabilize the cup while drinking your hot beverage. Le Tallec of Paris is the maker of this cup, who tried to make porcelain pieces that resembled Sevres and Vincennes porcelain from the eighteenth century. Tiffany and Company was the exclusive seller of Le Tallec’s porcelain towards the end of his life.
