Description
Royal Vienna” cobalt blue urn with museum quality paintings of Greek mythology of Paris and Helena artist-signed Wagner. The urn base has a cobalt ground with raised gold decorations of vases with flowers, leaf decorations and white enamel jeweling. There is a raised gold flower garland under the paintings. The handles have figural bird’s heads. The urn also has acanthus leaves and jewel decorations on a cobalt ground. The paintings, which are on both sides of the urn, are on a gold background which makes the paintings more vivid and elegant. The detail of these paintings is superb. You can see the detail in the pictures displayed. This outstanding urn would look exceptional anywhere in your room as it is beautiful on both sides. Height is 17 inches tall.
