This flower bouquet is sitting in a marbleized alcove. You can see the signature of the artist, F.F. Jungling fecit, on the bottom right corner of the painting and a butterfly on the bottom left. Friedrich Jungling (1846-1889) was born in Leipzig, Germany and emigrated to New York in 1866.This is truly a gorgeous painting done by a very talented artist. It is in a gilded wood frame.
