Camille Le Tallec was born in Paris in 1906. In 1929, he graduated from the Ecole du Louvre. In 1930, he opened his studio in Belleville, Paris, which became the Atelier Le Tallec. At his studio, his goal was to paint his porcelain pieces beautifully like Vincennes or Sevres porcelains. Most of the Le Tallec boxes were decorated at his studio on Limoges porcelain blanks. His hand-painted porcelain creations were the highest quality. They sold to royalty like Queen Elizabeth, and other famous royalty in Europe, Morocco and the Middle East. In 1961, Le Tallec began to work with Tiffany and Company. Tiffany and Le Tallec porcelain pieces were displayed in all of the Tiffany and Company stores. One year before Camille Le Tallec’s death, Atelier Le Tallec was incorporated into Tiffany and Company. Tiffany closed the studio of Le Tallec in 2014, after his studio made exquisite porcelain pieces for 90 years. Atelier Le Tallec became a member of the Grands Ateliers de France in 2020.
