We are offering you this fabulous pair of cobalt oval Spode hand-painted scenic bowls. The bowls are paintings of a castle and an Abbey. One bowl has the Spode black mark on its back and the other bowl the mark seems to be rubbed off. The name of the Abbey and the castle in the paintings are on the back of the bowls. The black Spode mark denotes the bowls are from the early 1800s. If you look at the paintings on these bowls, you can tell they were painted by a very talented artist. There is a thick cobalt border around the paintings with gold filigree decoration, which makes the paintings even more stunning.
