I am happy to present these very special Sevres hunt plates to you. This is a set of 11 Louis Philippe hunt plates, which he commissioned from Sevres porcelain manufactory for his Chateau de Fontainebleau, which was famous for hunting. These were made in 1846, when Louis Philippe was adding to his set. You can see arabesques of foliage with diamond shape emblems with the cypher of LP on each plate. The decorative leafy borders symbolize a forest and all the animals you see in the pictures are intertwined in the forest foliage. You can see deer, birds and dogs.
