I want to offer you this beautifully painted Meissen four cornered deep serving bowl painted with a large tulip flower bouquet in the center and four different flower bouquets, one on each side of the bowl. It is also decorated with little insects as the Meissen artists often paint on their special pieces. The wonderful flower bouquets and the little insects painted on this bowl show the talent of the Meissen artists from the nineteenth century. This is a deep bowl. which is large enough to serve most foods. The interior of this bowl has a closed hatched lace border. It has a gold border. This would be a fabulous addition to any dinner service. This bowl is from the 1880s. It is in very good antique condition. It has very minimal gold wear around the border consistent with its 140 year old age. It is a beautiful first quality Meissen bowl.
